Apple Intelligence is Apple's on-device AI, available on iPhone 15 Pro and all iPhone 16+ models running iOS 26. The free version of Parola requires it to generate lessons offline. With a paid subscription, Parola uses our cloud backend so you can learn on any iPhone — no Apple Intelligence needed.
Currently Spanish, Italian, French, and German. More languages are on the roadmap. The app's own interface also speaks all four of those languages, so you can set the UI to your native tongue.
Both free and paid plans allow up to 5 lessons per day. That's a limit set by how the AI generation works — each lesson is a full vocabulary set, story, and quiz, which takes meaningful compute time to produce well.
On the free offline plan, everything stays on your device — no data is ever sent anywhere. On the cloud plan, your lesson prompts (your chosen topic, level, and language) are sent to our server to generate lessons, but no personal information is stored or shared.
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the App Store. You keep access until the end of your billing period. No hidden fees.
